The Gianadda Foundation, the lifelong work of Léonard Gianadda, is more than just an exhibition space. In 1976, in tribute to his brother Pierre Gianadda, Léonard erected an impressive concrete building above a recently discovered Celtic temple. Dedicating its space to the fine arts, the Gianadda Foundation has hosted iconic figures such as Picasso, Matisse, Renoir, Rodin, Toulouse-Lautrec, Cézanne, Manet, and many others. In addition to temporary exhibitions, the building also houses the Automobile Museum, showcasing an impressive collection of Swiss vintage cars dating from 1897 to 1939.
